Thursday, October 30, 2008 students take to the streets in Rome alongside the workers for the general strike, more specifically focusing Piazza della Repubblica ( Esedra Square) where the protest will begin at 9:00 am . This will be an opportunity only, for which everything will line up alongside the world of education and workers, from students to teachers, parents, the teaching staff, and not only as a protest against the reforms of the Minister and the Minister Tremonti Gelmini. The long chain of strikes and demonstrations that have taken place since October 10, with performance by "rolling snowball", which is magnified, you will find in Rome Oct. 30 its peak, ready to mark the largest and most numerous events years.
To give everyone a chance to go to Rome and take to the streets, were organized by trade unions such as free buses CISL and CGIL. For more information, and to be able to enter, ask the premises of the respective unions.
Some people decided to go by train. From La Spezia to Rome Termini train here are some that you might find helpful.
The capital lies ahead. The general strike is waiting for us. We're going, we'll be there!
